Unfortunately we do not offer refunds on any tickets or add-ons purchased.  If you need to make a change to your order, or have any outstanding emergency circumstances, please contact the Office at:

Transfers of tickets are allowed through your account that you created when you bought your tickets.  Sign in here:

Tickets and any Add-Ons will be sent via QR codes to your email address on file TWO WEEKS BEFORE the event.  We do this to help keep it from getting lost in your inbox before the festival.

You may also use an ID at the box office to look up your purchase if you are the person who purchased the ticket.

The person who purchased the tickets can either send you the QR ticket via email, or print it out and give it to you in person.  OR they can log into their account and adjust the names and emails associated with each ticket, and then you will be able to check in using your ID.  Please remember that you can't just say your "1 of John Doe's 6 tickets" if you are not John Doe.  So please transfer or print tickets if you will not be arriving together.

Right now we are only selling Sunday Only Tickets, and Sat/Sun Only tickets.  Please check back as we may release different ticket types closer to the festival.

All 3 day tickets include admission to the festival and campground for all three days, starting at 9am on Friday August 2nd, thru 12 noon on Monday August 4th.

All 3 day tickets include tent camping on the river bar.

Parking is NOT included in GA or VIP ticket prices.  Parking is $40 for the weekend, NO INS AND OUTS.  Each time you enter the festival with your car, you will need to pay the $40 charge.

A VIP add-on to your ticket gives you access to camping in the VIP area, which is on the grass, inside the festival itself.


You also get access to a VIP only bar, a grab bag of goodies, and more!


There is no VIP parking area. First come first serve into the GA parking lot. You will be walking your stuff into camp, please bring a wagon to load your stuff into. We will have pedicabs and shuttle vans to help move you and your belongings.

Car camping includes the space for your vehicle and a 10 x 10 space in front of your vehicle for a tent. This camping is for standard size vehicles up to 20ft long. No trailers or RV’s will be permitted, no exceptions!

Arrival

Reggae on the River has historically taken place on the first weekend of August, and we're happy to announce that as we return in 2024, we have kept this tradition going.  Join us for the 35th Reggae on the River on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 2024!

Reggae on the River has moved to County Line Ranch, right next-door to it's old historic location, French's Camp.

County Line Ranch is a beautiful property, full of trees, and still on the south fork of the Eel River.

It is recommended that you download, screenshot, or print out your QR code ticket prior to arriving on site.  Tickets can also be pulled up by name using your ID, but only if the ticket is in your name, and all other parties in your booking arrive with you.

Our Front Gate and Box Office will open at 9am on Friday August 2nd.  Please do not arrive before that time.

Yes! We love our Reggae kids! Children 12 and under are free. Ask for a kids wristband at check in or at the info booth. A full kid zone will be available in the event from 10a-7p most days.

No, please leave your pets at home. We have a very strict no animal policy. Any patrons in violation of this policy will be asked to leave with their animal. If you have a service animal, please pre-register on our website.

Yes, we have ATM’s on site. We are in a very rural area. We have experienced some banks recognizing multiple transactions in one day from our location as suspected fraud. We recommend having enough cash on you to get through the day or limiting your ATM transactions where possible. Checking with your bank ahead of time might prevent this issue.

This region can be subject to dramatic differences in day and night temps. Daytime temperatures can range from low 80’s-well over 100 degrees F. Night time can be fairly cool in the 50’s. Please bring layers and environmentally friendly sun protection.

Yes, there will be a public shower available. 

Showers will be open to the public Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We encourage participants to use this opportunity to unplug from your daily lives! You are camping in a remote and majestic part of California. Bring items from home that you would on any camping trip without electrical access.

Yes! We need devices too! We will have a charging station available in the concert bowl for general use at your own risk.

No thank you. Please do not project any lasers into the forested tree lines. Anyone found with lasers in possession and in violation of this request is subject to removal from the grounds.

Absolutely not.  Any unauthorized drones will be confiscated and held till the end of the festival.

No, you can not.  Only  small personal cameras are allowed, but if you would like to professionally shoot photos or video of the festival, you must apply for a Media and Photo Pass on our website here: Media and Press Form

Bringing a personal headlamp is a great option to have handy or a flashlight.

River Access

We hope you enjoy the scenic Eel River during your stay with us. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. 

The Eel River is a sensitive area. Please be mindful of all products on your body and hair. Avoid products with harsh chemicals. We ask that you only use environmentally friendly products while at Reggae on the River. 

No, there is no soap permitted in the water. Please use environmentally friendly soap in the provided Shower area only.

There is no rock jumping/ cliff diving permitted. There is No trespassing permitted onto the east side of the river. Please respect all signage. Violators may be asked to leave the premise.


Yes! Please bring floaties to enjoy your time on the water. We ask that you take these home with you and do not leave them unattended by the waters edge.

Camping

All GA camping is along the river bar. The ground contains small rocks in most areas and can be uneven terrain. There is no shade in this area, please plan accordingly with self provided shade and shoes for river walking. 

Car camping includes the space for your vehicle and a 10 x 10 space in front of your vehicle for a tent. This camping is for standard size vehicles up to 20ft long. No trailers or RV’s will be permitted, no exceptions!

The Eel River is home to many threatened species. Please respect the 50ft setback that will be visible through signage along the river. Any campers within 50 ft of the waters edge will be asked to move to an appropriate location.

Our “East Beach” camping area will be the least impacted by sound late into the night. Please bring earplugs if you need quiet time.

We ask that you not bring glass containers onto the river bar. Glass will not be permitted into the main concert venue or at the River Stage areas, no exceptions. 


No generators will be permitted on the river bar in GA camping. Any generators found are subject to removal by festival staff and/or the Fire Crew. Please bring solar power sources for your camp. 


While we recommend you bring at least one gallon of water per person per day, we will have the Jah Mall General Store open on the festival grounds. Ice, water, and common forgotten items may be available for purchase. There is a gas station about .5 miles to the north accessible by shuttle for additional purchases. The town of Garberville is about 10 miles to the North with a full grocery store, restaurants, and other businesses to visit.


ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES ARE PERMITTED ON SITE. Nights can be cold, please bring layered clothing and warm sleeping gear.

No charcoal devices are allowed. A contained camp stove can be used.

No open flames of any kind. During this time of year fire season is high and we must protect the environment.

NO FIREWORKS are permitted. Any spark can ignite a forest fire which would be devastating.

We kindly ask that you observe all the pack it in, pack it out rules. Please do not leave your trash behind.

Parking

Parking is limited, first come first serve, and not guaranteed to be on the main festival site. We have several ancillary parking areas within .5 mi/ ?km that will open once our on site parking is full. There will be a shuttle provided to and from those locations beginning at 9AM and running up to one hour after the main stage closes once those parking lots are in use. There is NO walking permitted on Highway 101. We will update our media outlets during the weekend with any parking lot update information. 

ADA parking will all be on the main festival site and you must have a valid placard issued by the DMV to access this lot. There are no ins and outs for Weekend ADA passes.

There are NO ins & outs permitted with any public parking passes. You will be assessed another fee if you leave and come back to park.

RVs

No. All RV spaces are dry camping only.

No, all generators must be contained onboard your RV. Any generators found on the ground are subject to removal by ROTR staff or Fire Crew.

No, thank you. We have plenty of musical entertainment for all to enjoy. Please keep music in the RV campground at a level that allows your neighbors to do the same.

Pets of any kind are not allowed on festival grounds, see our animal policy for more information. If a service animal is required, please pre-register your animal on our Accessibility Form.

All guests of your RV must have a 3-day ticket purchased. All unticketed people will be asked to purchase a ticket.
